Biometrics are methods of authenticating the identity of a person based on physiological or behavioral characteristics. Biometric
fingerprint authentication refers to technology that measures and analyzes human physical characteristics for identification and
authorization purposes, since everyone is known to have their own unique individual fingerprints. The Kwikvault is engineered
to read and match fingerprints with unmatched speed and precision accuracy.
The Kwik vault uses an AC capacitive swipe sensor technology to read deeper and look at the live layer
of skin beneath the surface of the finger in order to authenticate. This technology ignores most non-living material
(dirt, oil, even calluses) that might interfere with lower quality sensors. Other biometric sensors simply take a picture of
the fingerprint surface making it easy to spoof and hard to authenticate under a variety of conditions. This technology
translates into more convenience and greater security for your valuables.
